PVDF TKG® DF

PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) is a highly crystalline thermoplastic.

It maintains its electrical, thermal and mechanical properties over a wide range of temperatures (-40 to +150ºC) and stands out for its excellent chemical resistance.

Polyvinylidene Fluoride PVDF TKG® DF resists very well against the weather and especially UV radiation and gamma rays.

It is dimensionally stable and resistant to a wide range of chemical agents, self-extinguishing, with low smoke emission which makes it a good electrical insulator.

Unlike PTFE and other thermoplastics, Polyvinylidene Fluoride PVDF TKG® DF has good resistance to mechanical deformation. It does not absorb water, is absolutely non-toxic and can be used directly in contact with food and beverages.

We manufacture bars and plates

PVDF or Polyvinylidene Fluoride is machined just as easily as polyamides and can be easily welded together using the most common methods (hot air and weld seam, ultrasonic, vibration, common welder).

All of these properties can be improved with additives such as fiberglass or carbon fiber.
