PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) retains chemical and electrical properties from the temperature range of -180ºC to 260ºC. It is non-flammable.
In the electrical and electronics industries, PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) has a very wide field of application due to its exceptional electrical and dielectric properties, which remain constant within a wide range of frequencies and temperatures.
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is a self-lubricating material that can be further improved by adding fillers such as graphite, bronze, stainless, fiberglass, etc. Its tensile strength is moderate. It is flexible, but not elastic (the smaller the section, the greater the flexibility and viceversa).
We manufacture bars, tubes, plates and film.
PTFE or Polytetrafluoroethylene is chemically and biologically inert, resistant to moisture, with low friction (non-stick material) and excellent electrical insulation.
PTFE or Polytetrafluoroethylene can withstand extremely high (300ºC) and low (-270ºC) temperatures.
